The low pressure of the XFlow® water mist system is optimal for public spaces as it uses small pipes that leave space for other installations in the ceiling. The XFlow® water mist system utilizes small pipe dimensions which require less water to extinguish fires resulting in less water damage compared to conventional sprinkler systems. The system requires small water consumption and can therefore be connected to a public water supply often eliminating the need for a water pressure tank compared to traditional sprinkler systems.

The XFlow® water mist system operates exceptionally in open spaces such as shopping centers due to large nozzle capacity versus area of coverage supported by the system. This in turn results in fewer required nozzles than traditional systems.
